Contact free Measurement of Inner Contours

In this project an automated internal measuring process suitable for serial production is developed analogue to an existing procedure for external measurement.

The measurement of the internal diameter and the internal contour of symmetrically rotating test parts is contact free by means of optical sensors. The measuring device is designed as a stand-alone solution and as a retrofit solution for systems already in use. Measurement is computer- and software- controlled with freely configurable measuring processes.

For the retrofit solution the software packages must be synchronized according to requirements. The aim is to apply the same measuring principles as for external contour measuring instruments. The advantage is that it is then easy to use this new measuring procedure because the user is already familiar with the handling of such a device.
